Deckorators Surestone composite decking combines the natural look of timber with a lightweight, stable mineral-based core. The fully capped 140 x 22mm boards are comfortable underfoot, provide reliable traction in wet and dry conditions and require far less maintenance than timber decking.
Available in Bali, Tahiti, Amalfi, Riviera and Oslo, with grooved-edge boards for concealed fixing and solid-edge boards for picture frames, stairs and other visible edges.

Deckorators decking is made with Surestone technology, a mineral-based composite developed to provide strength without the weight of a traditional wood-plastic composite board. It is approximately 35% lighter than standard composite decking, making the 5.8 metre boards easier to handle while still providing a strong, stable deck surface.

The boards are protected by a durable cap that resists moisture, staining, fading and everyday wear. The textured surface provides reliable traction in wet and dry conditions, while the micro-embossed finish is designed to reduce heat build-up and remain more comfortable underfoot.

Surestone has minimal expansion and contraction, helping boards remain straight and gaps stay consistent as temperatures change. It will not splinter and does not need to be sanded, stained or oiled. Normal cleaning is still required to remove dirt, leaves and other debris.

The four colours cover both warm timber tones and contemporary grey finishes:

Use the grooved-edge profile across the main deck area with Deckorators Stowaway Hidden Fasteners. The fasteners sit between the boards and secure through the side grooves, leaving the deck surface free from rows of exposed screws.

Use solid-edge boards where the edge of the decking will remain visible, including picture-frame borders and stair treads. Deckorators Pro Plug fasteners can conceal top-fixed screws in suitable locations. Deckorators colour-matched screws provide a neat face-fixed option where a plug is not required.

Select the board profiles and fastening systems as part of the deck layout before ordering. This allows for picture frames, stairs, breaker boards and any other areas that cannot be installed with a standard hidden fastener.

Deckorators decking is suitable for professional installation and experienced DIY projects. Install the boards over a properly designed, level and ventilated subframe in accordance with the current Deckorators Australian installation guide and applicable building requirements.

Allow the specified spacing between boards for drainage and use the correct joist spacing, end gaps, fixings and support at board ends. Grooved boards are installed with compatible Stowaway Hidden Fasteners. Solid-edge boards and areas requiring top fixing should use an approved Deckorators face-fixing system.
Pre-plan board direction, joins, picture-frame borders and stair details before fixing begins. Use sharp, suitable cutting tools and support the full board during handling and cutting. Do not overtighten fixings, as this can damage the board surface or prevent the fastening system from performing correctly.

Deckorators Surestone decking does not require sanding, staining or oiling. Sweep away leaves and loose debris and keep the gaps between boards clear so water can drain freely.

General dirt and marks can be cleaned with water and a mild soap or detergent. Rinse the surface thoroughly after cleaning. When using a pressure washer, use the lowest suitable pressure with a fan-tip nozzle and follow the Deckorators care instructions.

Remove spills promptly and avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaning products and tools that may damage the capped surface.
