Modwood Xtreme Guard (XTG) is a great value for money, premium, fully capped decking range designed for projects where durability, finish, and long-term performance matter most. Unlike standard composite boards, XTG features protective capping on all four sides, creating a harder-wearing outer layer that improves resistance to moisture, staining, mould, and mildew.

The deep embossed grain and multi-tonal colour blend give the boards texture and variation, while still delivering a clean, consistent result across the entire deck.

XTG is manufactured to achieve a P5 slip resistance rating (AS 4586:2013), making it a strong option for wet areas, pool surrounds, and commercial applications. It’s also designed for straightforward installation, using the Snap-LOC concealed fixing system for standard decks, with matching colour-coated screws available for more complex layouts.

Built for Australian conditions and backed by a long-standing local manufacturer, XTG is an ultra low-maintenance solution — no sanding, staining, or oiling required. Just occasional cleaning to keep the deck looking sharp over time.

Available in a range of multi-chromatic colours, Xtreme Guard is suited to modern outdoor builds where you want a durable, consistent finish without the variability or upkeep of traditional materials.
