Made from Kiln Dried Spotted Gum Finger Jointed (F/J) Hardwood Timber with a Class 1 Above Ground Durability.

Available in a 43x8mm Vertical Slat.  

Our Allure screens are well constructed, sturdy and are screw and glue fastened to 42mm x 19mm backing slats.

They are light weight and easy to install with pool compliant gaps of less than 10mm!

They come in two popular sizes only 2400 (h) x 900 (w)  20.3 Kg (Approx). and 1800 (h) x 900 (w). 15.9 Kg (Approx).

These screens can be used either horizontally or vertically and are supplied in a natural finish, allowing for a variety of coatings to be applied to suit all applications..

Spotted Gum is the most popular Australian Hardwood due to its intense range and variety of pale and dark brown colours, as well as the presence of a wavy grain that produces an attractive outdoor screening solution for both privacy and decorative purposes.  Spotted Gum is a eucalypt growing in coastal districts from the New South Wales/Victorian border region to Maryborough in Queensland. 

Spotted gum has a lower tanin content than other hardwood options, and is ideal for areas in which staining is a concern.  

Pre-drilling is advisable when nailing or screwing and it is best to secure each backing slat.  These screens can be stained or painted and it is advised to seal both sides of the screen.
